Privacy Policy — ACP Patrol (Albuquerque Courtesy & Parking)

Last updated: 10/26/2025

ACP Patrol (“ACP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we handle when you visit our website or contact us, including how we use call and text (SMS) communications. ACP is the data controller for information described here.

Key points
• ACP does not use web forms, account registration, or newsletters.
• ACP does not collect or maintain customer phone numbers or marketing lists.
• Customers contact ACP directly (call or text) to request service/appointments.
• After an appointment is completed, ACP does not send follow-up texts.
• When impound is required, ACP coordinates with independent booting/towing companies; customer communications for release/payment occur directly with those companies.

1) Information We Collect

a) Information you provide directly

We do not operate site forms or user accounts. If you contact us by phone or SMS, we will see your phone number and any information you choose to share in that conversation (e.g., location, schedule details). We do not add these numbers to any list or retain them for marketing.

b) Operational patrol records

In the normal course of courtesy and parking patrol (observe-and-report), we may generate operational logs for property managers. These may contain non-customer personal data such as:

  • date/time stamps, locations/checkpoints,

  • photographs of areas/vehicles (which can include license plates),

  • notes related to property rules (e.g., parking or quiet-hours observations).

These records are created for property management documentation and are not used to profile individuals.

c) Device/website data

When you visit our website, we may receive limited technical information from your browser (e.g., IP address, browser type, time zone, pages viewed). We use this only for site security and basic statistics and do not attempt to identify you. We do not use marketing pixels, account cookies, or web forms.

2) How We Use Information

We use information only to:

  • respond to your direct call or text and schedule service;

  • create and deliver patrol/incident reports to property management;

  • maintain website reliability and security;

  • comply with law and protect our rights and safety.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising or marketing.

3) SMS / Phone Policy

  • "SMS opt-in and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party and affiliates for marketing purposes."

4) Booting & Towing Companies (Third Parties)

When property management requests an impound, ACP may contact an independent booting or towing company.

  • ACP shares only the minimum information necessary to initiate the service (e.g., vehicle/location details).

  • Customer communications for payment, release, or follow-up occur directly with the booting/towing company.

  • Those companies are independent controllers of any personal data they collect. Please review their privacy policies for details.

5) Legal Bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where applicable, we process limited personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (providing patrol services, documenting incidents, website security) or to perform a requested service (responding to your call/text). Information may be transferred to the United States where ACP operates.

6) Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information. Because ACP does not maintain customer marketing lists or accounts, data we hold is generally limited to patrol logs and active service communications.
To make a request, contact us at info@acpcourtesypatrol.com or [505-282-0105].

7) Data Retention

  • SMS/Call details: kept only as needed to handle your request or for brief audit/security purposes, then deleted.

  • Patrol/incident logs: retained for a period set by our operational and legal obligations to property management, then securely deleted.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect operational records and our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to protect information within our control.

9) Links

Our website may link to other sites (including towing/booting providers). We are not responsible for their practices. Review their privacy notices before providing information.

10) Disclosures Required by Law

We may disclose information if required to comply with law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
